Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to our annual fundraising gala in support of our Mandarin immersion grade school. As the principal of this school, I am truly honored to stand before you tonight and share my enthusiasm for this wonderful program that has been changing the lives of our students.

Our school is unique in that we offer a Mandarin immersion program that enables our students to become bilingual and bicultural. We believe that through language and cultural immersion, our students not only gain a deeper understanding of the Chinese language and culture, but they also develop key skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication – skills that are essential for success in today's globalized world.

Tonight, we are here to celebrate the achievements of our students and to raise funds that will help us to continue to provide them with the best possible education. With your generous support, we can continue to offer our students an immersive learning experience that will prepare them for a bright and successful future.

Once again, thank you for joining us tonight and for your continued support of our Mandarin immersion grade school. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our students and help them to achieve their full potential.

FUND A NEED

Do you feel like we were missing some enrichment programs this year?

performing arts

Well, together, we can change that for next year! We already have some of our very own, talented teachers committing to running science and music for all students, plus we are in the works in getting other teachers to run theater, art and writing. This is going to be a FREE after-school programming, open to all students pending funding.

Ms. Jess’s Science Pop-Up Lab

To see how this might work, Ms. Jess hosted a Science Pop-Up Lab these past few weeks. One of the areas she focused on with the older students was buoyancy, and she also taught the younger students how water can flow without the help of external forces with a “walking rainbow”.

We plan to host fun after-school programming through 6 week sessions for all grade levels based on funding for the coming school year. As we establish this program, your ideas are welcomed for the coming years (2024, 2025) as we move to build out this wonderful program for our students!
